Christmas Edible Gifts – Chocolate Creations Galore!
It’s Christmas time! Green, red and gold. Family and friends. Love and togetherness. Sharing and giving. Joy, peace and hope. Tradition, excitement and celebrations. Food and wine. Fun and surprises. These are a few of my favorite things when I hear, “It’s Christmas time!”.
Food and surprises. A delectable combination, wouldn’t you agree? Along with delicious fruit puddings, moist Christmas cakes, rich buttery shortbread, indulgent chocolates are part of the festive landscape. I just can’t imagine Christmas without one of these.
In years gone past, come Christmas morning, it wasn’t difficult to guess what that gaily wrapped gift below the tree was. Brightly wrapped in red, green and gold. By its size and rectangular-ness, it was difficult to imagine that it could be anything but … a bar of chocolate or two. The thought is what counts, but … surprises are nice too!
Today, gifts of chocolate come in many shapes and sizes. They’re no longer just chocolate, but chocolate creations. The more creative, the more innovative, the more joy and surprise these chocolate creations give. Need a stocking to provide warmth? Sorry, but that stocking is meant to be eaten – another one of those creative chocolate creations. Mush? No, our Edible Snowman Box is chockfull of delicately mouthwatering nonpareils. They look so good, you might not want to eat them. Mmmm!
The humble chocolate blocks are not to be forgotten too. They’re good fillers for gift baskets. Not just any gift basket. A holiday chocolate creations gift basket – like, an elegant sleigh basket.
Chocolate creations also serve as great decorations. Like a ready-made Christmas tree made of chocolate. Or pop glittery wrapped individual chocolate pieces in a jar and place it on a table as a centrepiece. Christmas, being a time when family and friends drop in, you don’t want to be caught short. Let them indulge. Christmas time is sweet-time!
